The name Tama (魂) translates to "soul" in Japanese — rooted in the Shinto belief that all things possess spirit. Every dish we craft reflects that philosophy: made with heart, tradition, and intention.
With over a decade of experience serving high-quality Japanese cuisine, our chefs source only the finest seasonal fish, premium vegetables, hand-seasoned sushi rice, and made-from-scratch sauces. From delicate nigiri to hearty hibachi, from crispy nori tacos to house-made dim sum, each plate tells a story of craft and care.
Located on Route 9 in Natick, Tama brings an elevated Japanese dining experience to MetroWest — with 100 seats of tables, booths, and bar seating in a beautifully refreshed space.
